The Key Purpose of this role is to attend to customer queries, monitor competitor products, provide feedback on market conditions, monitor beer quality in the market, and act and/or recommend appropriate interventions to the Team Leader. The role also contributes to the development of new business avenues and the building of strong, sustainable relationships with retailers and customers.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and communicate distributor volume targets on a daily basis.

  • Ensure distributors adhere to model stock requirements for all brands and packs.

  • Ensure all relevant sales KPIs are achieved within the area (pricing, availability, visibility, etc.).

  • Conduct weekly calls on retail customers within the assigned area.

  • Ensure sales teams are presentable at all times and corrective action is taken against non-compliance.

  • Ensure effective after-sales service delivery.

  • Establish and maintain communication channels to foster strong customer relationships.

  • Provide timely feedback to customers and management on matters of concern.

  • Respond promptly to customer queries.

  • Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times.

  • Ensure all necessary trade documentation is available and carried at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Disciplined and hard-working.

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in marketing and distributing fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
