ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a fast-growing recruitment firm specialising in the education sector. The business operates within a high-energy, “work hard, play hard” environment with a supportive, family-oriented team.

The business is undergoing a major acquisition that will provide exclusive access to multi-academy trusts and is expanding its recruitment team ahead of its upcoming peak season.

THE ROLE: BILLING MANAGER

The Billing Manager will perform a dual role, managing the full recruitment lifecycle as an active 360 Recruitment Consultant while leading, coaching and managing the accountability of a team of 3–5 Recruitment Consultants.

The role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibility for running a personal recruitment desk, driving team performance and supporting high-volume recruitment delivery during peak periods. Targeted leadership orientation, system demonstrations and resources will be provided from day one to support team output.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead by example by sourcing, engaging and placing top-tier talent within the education sector.


• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle as an active 360 Recruitment Consultant.


• Lead, coach and manage the accountability of a team of 3–5 Recruitment Consultants.


• Drive daily team energy and lead by example during outbound “power hour” calling sessions.


• Provide active call coaching to upskill Recruitment Consultants.


• Ensure personal and team achievement of daily KPIs.


• Ensure each consultant sources a minimum of 5 new candidates daily.


• Maintain active pipeline regeneration within the CRM.


• Oversee team job board activity.


• Write, manage and optimise up to 20 advertisements on the Team Tailor platform.


• Consolidate team activity and track output.


• Provide daily End of Day (EOD) reports and operational insights to senior leadership.


• Drive team adoption of recruitment technology and CRM software and support software best practices.


• Close top talent and run client meetings.


• Deliver clear and impactful team briefings.


• Drive personal commission and team override targets.


• Foster high energy, accountability and healthy competition within a collaborative team structure.


• Maintain team morale during peak volume periods.

ABOUT YOU

• Strong IT literacy with confidence using modern recruitment technology and CRM software.


• Team Tailor experience is a plus.


• Highly articulate with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.


• Capable of closing top talent, running client meetings and delivering clear, impactful team briefings.


• Driven, goal-oriented and “money-hungry”, with motivation to achieve personal commission and team override targets.


• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while fostering high energy, accountability and healthy competition within a collaborative team structure.


• A competitive sports background or proven record in target-driven leadership environments is considered a strong asset.


• High emotional intelligence and resilience under pressure.


• Strong personal drive for success and the ability to maintain team morale during peak volume periods.


• Able to commit to full-time office attendance, 5 days per week.


• Able to work core hours of 08:00–18:00 UK time / local shift equivalents.


• Absolutely available during mandatory blackout leave periods from October half-term to December and May half-term to July.

WORKING HOURS

08:00–18:00 UK time / local shift equivalent.

Reduced hours are worked during school half-terms, with no change to salary.

CONTRACT & BENEFITS

• Permanent contract with a standard 6-month probation period.
