BOILERMAKERS AND WELDERS - SKILLED AND SEMI SKILLED

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform fabrication, welding and boilermaking activities on mining equipment and structures.
Conduct repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, chutes, hoppers, conveyors, pipelines and structural components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams and fabrication specifications.
Measure, mark, cut, bend and shape steel and other materials according to specifications.
Carry out MIG, TIG, arc and/or CO welding as required.
Perform maintenance and repairs on structural steelwork and mechanical components.
Assist with the installation, modification and alignment of plant and equipment.
