About the role

A well-established warehousing equipment company is opening a new branch in Nelspruit and is seeking an experienced, driven Branch Manager to lead its launch and ongoing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the branch, building a client base, managing day-to-day operations, and driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the setup and launch of the new Nelspruit branch, ensuring all operational processes are established from the ground up.
• Drive sales performance, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Recruit, manage, and develop branch staff, fostering a performance-driven culture aligned with company values.
• Manage branch budgets, financial reporting, and profitability targets using Pastel Evolution accounting software.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and relevant industry regulations.
• Oversee stock management, logistics coordination, and the maintenance of warehousing equipment inventory.

Minimum requirements

• Minimum 3 years' management experience in a branch manager, sales manager, or similar leadership role.
• Experience in the warehousing equipment industry or a closely related field (e.g. material handling, industrial equipment, logistics).
• Currently residing in the Nelspruit / Mbombela area (candidates not based locally will not be considered).
• Valid, unendorsed South African driver's licence and own reliable transport.
• Proficient in Pastel Evolution and standard Microsoft Windows programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong track record in sales, business development, and achieving revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Remuneration

Basic salary (CTC)
R25 000 – R35 000 pm
