Business Analyst

We are recruiting a Business Analyst to analyse how the organisation is designed, assess business models and their integration with technology, and support strategic planning, operating-model analysis, process definition and design, and technical analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse organisational structure and business design
  
• Assess business models and how they integrate with technology
  
• Contribute to strategic planning and operating / business model analysis
  
• Define and design business processes
  
• Undertake technical analysis in support of delivery
  
• Map processes and support application integration on open platforms
  

Requirements

Essential requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
  
• 3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) or higher in an ICT-related field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar)
  
• Business Analysis certification aligned to IIBA and the BABOK Guide
  
• Knowledge and understanding of SDLC methodology
  
• Understanding of business analysis practices
  
• Process mapping experience
  
• Application integration experience
  
• Open platform experience
  
• Understanding of EA practices, methodologies, frameworks and standards, including TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, MISS, MIOS and GWEA
  
• Understanding of the cadastral environment
  
• Ability to think strategically
