We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and service-oriented Business Development Administrator to support our Business Development team. Role Description


As the Business Development Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the learner journey and the Business Development function. You will administer key business systems, coordinate learner enrolments and short courses, support corporate training initiatives, maintain accurate client information and assist with business development projects and events.


 


Job Specification 


Systems Administration



  • Administer and maintain sales, finance, learner application, enrolment and client support systems.

  • Ensure data integrity across all business systems.

  • Process learner applications, enrolments and client records.

  • Generate operational and management reports.

  • Resolve and escalate system-related queries.

  • Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.


Short Course Administration



  • Coordinate the administration of MBSE's short courses, including Class of Business and CPD activities.

  • Manage learner registrations and enrolments.

  • Coordinate workshops, venues, logistics and training materials.

  • Liaise with Finance regarding learner payments.

  • Arrange the distribution of certificates and learner documentation.

  • Respond to learner enquiries and manage client feedback.


Business Development Support



  • Maintain accurate client records and CRM information.

  • Prepare reports for corporate clients.

  • Coordinate corporate training sessions.

  • Assist with career days, exhibitions and corporate events.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting schedules for the Business Development Manager.

  • Support special projects and business development initiatives.


Continuous Improvement



  • Identify opportunities to improve systems and administrative processes.

  • Benchmark short course offerings and recommend improvements.

  • Collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and quality standards.


 


Knowledge, Skills and competencies



  • Online learning environments.

  • Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Learner Management Systems, Student Information Systems, CRM systems and financial systems.

  • Knowledge of the Financial Services industry and FSCA Fit and Proper requirements will be advantageous.

  • Commitment to delivering service excellence.

  • High ethical standards and integrity.

  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.

  • Confidence in using technology and business systems to improve efficiency.

  • Strong organisational, communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications


NQF Level 7 qualification in commerce or similar



Experience



  • Minimum of three years' administration experience.

  • At least two years' experience in a higher education, training or learning environment.
