Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Camp Manager to join a luxury safari camp in the Welgevonden Game Reserve, Limpopo. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys guest interaction, team leadership and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a safari camp.

Key responsibilities:

  Oversee the daily operation of the camp and ensure smooth service delivery.

  Manage and motivate the camp team, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Welcome and host guests, creating a warm and memorable safari experience.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate daily activities and assist with guest requirements and special requests.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct staff briefings and ensure the team is well prepared for daily operations.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor service standards across all areas of the camp.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with stock control, ordering and general administration.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure cleanliness, presentation and maintenance standards are upheld.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Handle guest feedback and resolve operational issues professionally.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with management to maintain the overall standards and reputation of the property.
  
  

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Previous experience in a Camp Manager, Lodge Manager or similar hospitality management role.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Experience within a luxury safari lodge or camp environment will be advantageous.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Strong guest relations and communication skills.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

  Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.

  Professional presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality.
