Key Responsibilities.
Ensure machine shop operations are completed in a timely, economical and efficient manner.
Operate programmable and non-programmable machine shop equipment.
Perform machine loading, setup and operation.
Conduct daily, weekly and monthly equipment inspections and checks.
Ensure machinery inspection plans are completed.
Read and follow work orders, engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Work accurately to specified tolerances and quality requirements.
Perform quality checks and complete inspection reports.
