Compliance & Operations Lead (Casp) - Cape Town

Compliance & KI
Duties

·       Act as Key
Individual under the FSCA license and ensure CASP compliance.

·       Lead internal
AML/KYC processes, STR submissions, and risk reporting.

·       Own compliance
policies, registers, and audit prep.

·       Serve as
primary liaison with FSCA and FIC.

Legal Support

·       Review and
manage basic legal agreements (NDAs, SLAs, client/vendor contracts).

·       Support
regulatory submissions and updates to legal frameworks.

·       Work with
external legal counsel as needed.

Operations Interface

·       Coordinate
crypto/fiat settlements, onboarding flow, and platform compliance features.

·       Ensure
operational controls are compliant and efficient.

·       Collaborate
cross -functionally with Tech, Product, and Finance.

Requirements

• LLB (or
  compliance/legal diploma) with 3–6 years of legal, compliance, or regulatory
  experience.
  
• Experience in a fintech,
  crypto, or financial services environment.
  
• Strong working
  knowledge of FAIS, FIC, and POPIA.
  
• Eligible to be
  appointed as a Key Individual under FSCA regulations.
  
• Detail -oriented with
  solid communication and documentation skills.
