Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Content Writer to support a UK-based employer in producing high-quality written content for digital and marketing channels. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the creation of blogs, web copy, social content, and marketing materials
• Handle content briefs, editorial calendars, and copy revisions efficiently
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
• Maintain accurate records of content assets, publishing schedules, and style guidelines
• Use relevant tools such as WordPress, Google Docs, Grammarly, and content management systems
• Support the wider team with SEO-optimised writing, email copy, and brand storytelling
• Identify opportunities to improve content quality, consistency, and audience engagement

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple writing projects simultaneously
• Proficient in CMS platforms, SEO basics, and Google Workspace
• Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience writing for UK-based audiences or employers is advantageous
• Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment

Salary: R25,000/month | 100% Remote
