Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to develop reporting frameworks, create dashboards and deliver insights that support operational improvements and sales growth. The role works closely with technical, product and sales teams to turn business data into meaningful information for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, validate and analyse technical, product, sales and market intelligence data.


• Produce accurate monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports, highlighting trends and actionable insights.


• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and KPI reports using Power BI, Excel or similar platforms.


• Automate and centralise reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.


• Analyse customer enquiries and support data to identify recurring issues, training needs and gaps in technical documentation.


• Track the validity and review status of product test reports, certifications and technical documentation, flagging missing or outdated information.


• Analyse market trends, customer interests, competitor activity and content engagement to support product and sales decisions.


• Generate lead intelligence and provide qualified sales leads and market insights to sales teams.


• Improve data quality, reporting effectiveness and access to technical knowledge across the business.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric. A relevant degree in Data or Information Technology will also be considered.


• Proficiency in Power BI or a similar business intelligence platform.


• Skills in data modelling, dashboard development and data visualisation.


• Knowledge of data cleansing and validation techniques.


• MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel and Outlook.


• Ability to analyse data and prepare market insight reports.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.


• At least two years’ experience in sales or customer service data analysis or reporting would be advantageous.


• Experience using SAP or a related ERP system would be beneficial.


• Data Analytics or Business Intelligence certifications, SQL and database querying skills, and presentation-building experience would be advantageous.
