What You’ll Be Doing
As a Data Cleanser, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our business data remains accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose.
Your responsibilities will include:
Data Cleansing & Quality Assurance
Reviewing and cleansing large datasets to identify and correct:
Duplicate records
Missing or incomplete information
Inconsistent formats and values
Data entry errors
Identifying and updating key decision-makers across core business technology stacks
Validating data accuracy across multiple systems and sources
Standardising data in line with agreed business rules and data standards
Performing regular data quality checks and audits
Collaboration & Problem Solving
Working closely with data, operational, and business teams to resolve data-related issues
Supporting data migration, reconciliation, and system change activities where required
Documenting data issues, cleansing rules, and corrective actions taken
Proactively identifying opportunities to improve data quality and processes
Compliance & Governance
Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly
Ensuring compliance with data protection and information security requirements, including GDPR
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a data cleansing, data quality, or data administration role
Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
Experience using Excel or similar data handling tools, including:
Filtering
Validation
Pivot tables
Ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and precision
Strong organisational and time management skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Experience
Experience working with databases, CRM, ERP, or data management systems
Basic SQL or data querying knowledge
Familiarity with data governance or data quality frameworks
Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments
Previous experience working within a target-driven environment
