Job Description - Distributor Account Manager

Industrial Lubricants | Channel Sales | National Travel

Do you know how to build, grow and maximise distributor partnerships?

We're looking for an experienced Distributor Account Manager to lead the growth and performance of a national distributor network within the industrial lubricants industry.

This is far more than traditional account management—you'll coach distributors, drive commercial excellence, improve market penetration and build winning growth strategies.

Your responsibilities

Manage strategic distributor partnerships
Develop and execute joint business plans
Grow distributor sales and profitability
Coach distributor sales teams on value selling
Identify new market opportunities
Expand channel coverage
Manage pricing and commercial negotiations
Drive marketing initiatives through distributors
Improve distributor capability and performance
Achieve volume, revenue and margin targets

You'll need

Around 10 years' sales or distributor management experience
Industrial B2B or lubricants industry experience
Strong distributor or channel management background
Excellent commercial negotiation skills
Proven history of delivering sales growth
Ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience managing multiple distributor relationships
Willingness to travel extensively
