DRIVERS AND TRUCK ASSISTANTS- LOGISTICS

Responsibilities
Keep the assigned vehicle clean and tidy both inside and out, arranging regular washing and ensuring the cab is free of litter.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking tyres, lights, brakes, fluid levels, and safety equipment before every journey.
Load and unload goods safely, ensuring cargo is properly secured and protected against damage during transit using straps and restraints.
Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic fines, or near-miss incidents to the transport manager immediately and complete incident reports.
Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation and local knowledge to minimise fuel consumption and ensure on-time deliveries.
Complete all delivery documentation accurately including waybills, delivery notes, and proof of delivery receipts for office processing.
Provide polite and professional service to customers at delivery and collection points, representing the company positively in all interactions.Forward cv to; [email protected]
