DUTY MANAGER | LUXURY BOUTIQUE HOTEL | CAPE TOWN

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and guest-focused Duty Manager to join a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a refined, high-touch guest environment and has a strong background in boutique hotel operations.

Salary: R18,000 â R22,000 (DOE)

Accommodation: Live-out position

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

â¢ Minimum 5 yearsâ experience in boutique hotel operations

â¢ Strong background in front office and guest relations

â¢ Proven ability to manage daily hotel operations effectively

â¢ Excellent problem-solving and guest resolution skills

â¢ Strong leadership and team coordination abilities

â¢ Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

â¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

â¢ Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure seamless guest experience

â¢ Manage guest relations, handling requests, complaints, and special needs

â¢ Supervise and support front office and operational teams during shifts

â¢ Ensure high standards of service delivery across all departments

â¢ Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and food and beverage teams

â¢ Handle daily reporting, shift handovers, and operational checks

â¢ Maintain a visible presence to ensure guest satisfaction at all times
