Our client is seeking an energetic ECP Group Sales Specialist with a strong background in sales within the long- or short-term insurance sector.
As a skilled salesperson, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building and maintaining relationships, and assisting clients in selecting suitable coverage for their employees. This position plays a key role in advancing our client’s mission to provide accessible and effective employee insurance solutions.
Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans is essential.
Matric certificate (essential).
RE5 certification (required).
Undergraduate degree or diploma (advantageous).
Minimum of 1 year of long- or short-term insurance sales experience.
Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience essential.
Excellent fluency in English and Afrikaans.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve targets and expand the client base.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through personal networks and online platforms.
Market products to both self-sourced leads and those generated by the company’s marketing team.
Sell employee staff cover products via the broker portal, ensuring efficient follow-up and support.
Build and maintain lasting client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and referrals.
Meet with prospects in person and through online channels such as Teams and Zoom.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance the customer value proposition.
Adapt to changing responsibilities as the company evolves.
Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and LinkedIn for networking and sales.
Skilled in sourcing leads independently and building a strong, sustainable sales pipeline.
Customer-focused with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
High sense of urgency, accountability, and consistent delivery of results.
Resilient and adaptable in dynamic business environments.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
