Electrician / Maintenance Technician (Contract)

• Carry out
  routine maintenance and preventative servicing on electrical equipment and
  machinery
  
• Assist with
  troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs of electrical systems
  
• Maintain
  and repair electrical components including panels, motors, wiring, and control
  systems
  
• Support the
  installation and commissioning of new equipment
  
• Ensure all
  work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
  
• Provide
  basic mechanical assistance when required
  
• Perform
  inspections to identify potential faults, hazards, or maintenance needs
  
• Accurately
  complete maintenance records, job cards, and reports
  
• Maintain a
  clean, organised, and safe working environment
  

Requirements

• Grade
  12
  
• Qualified
  Trade Tested Electrician
  
• 1–3 years’
  experience in an industrial or maintenance environment
  
• Sound
  knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and fault-finding techniques
  
• Ability to
  interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
  
• Valid
  driver’s license with own reliable transport
  
• Must be
  based in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
