Job Description - Engineering Stores

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Stock Control (Engineering Focused)

To oversee the complete inventory life cycle of engineering, mechanical, and electrical spare parts, ensuring 100% availability for preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs while maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy, housekeeping, and safety compliance in a high-speed beverage production plant.

Manage receipts, storage, and issuance of engineering spare parts, tools, and consumables.

Ensure accurate inventory records in SAP/CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), including daily posting of consumption, inventory adjustments, and stock movement reports.

Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) for consumable items (e.g., lubricants, chemicals) and ensure proper storage.

Conduct periodic physical inventory checks (Cycle Counting) and reconcile discrepancies.

Identify slow-moving and non-moving (obsolete) items to optimize inventory turnover

âCoordinate with the maintenance department to ensure critical spare parts are available to minimize production downtime.
