About Our Client

Our client is a UK-based Quality Engineering specialist, helping organisations deliver high-quality, reliable technology solutions. Their expertise spans software testing and quality assurance, test automation, managed QA services, resource augmentation, AI evaluation, and cybersecurity.

Purpose of the Role

The ERP Test Analyst will support the delivery of a major Infor ERP implementation, working alongside a team of Test Leads. As ERP Test Analyst, you will support the Test Leads in planning, coordinating and executing testing activities across the programme. You will work across functional workstreams, integrations, reporting and data migration to ensure the Infor solution is robust, fit for purpose and ready for deployment.

You will act as a key point of coordination to the Test Leads so that they can deliver confident updates to business SMEs, technical teams, project managers and programme leadership to ensure structured, traceable and risk-based testing is delivered.

Duties and Responsibilities

Test Planning & Governance

Support the Test Leads in developing and maintaining detailed ERP Test Plans and Schedules.

Assist in defining scope across Infor modules, integrations and business processes.

Contribute to phase entry and exit criteria for System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E) testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Provide structured status reporting, highlighting progress, risks and defect trends.

Requirements & Design Assurance

Conduct static reviews of requirements and solution designs to ensure clarity and testability.

Validate coverage of business requirements across configured Infor modules.

Collaborate with project teams to define clear, testable acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements.

Test Design & Coordination

Support the creation and quality assurance of detailed test scenarios and scripts.

Ensure end-to-end business process coverage across workstreams.

Coordinate integration testing between Infor and third-party systems.

Support validation of data migration and reporting outputs.

Oversee defect management activities, ensuring timely triage and resolution tracking.

Business & Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with SMEs to prepare for and execute test cycles.

Provide guidance and structure to business users during test execution.

Facilitate defect review discussions and support impact analysis.

Participate actively in project stand-ups, planning sessions and reviews.

Skills and Experience

Essential Experience

Proven experience in a Test Analyst or Senior Test Analyst role within ERP or large enterprise system delivery. We are hiring for a mid-senior level.

Experience supporting System Integration Testing, End-to-End testing and UAT phases.

Understanding of ERP business processes and cross-functional integrations.

Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr or equivalent.

Experience operating within structured delivery frameworks and governance models.

Desirable

Experience working with ERP solutions / implementations (SAP, Oracle and similar. Infor ERP solutions (e.g., CloudSuite) or equivalent enterprise platforms advantageous.

Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD environments and continuous testing practices.

Experience in data migration and integration testing within ERP programmes.
