Executive / Head Housekeeper | Luxury Villa | Greater Kruger

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Executive / Head Housekeeper for an exclusive luxury villa in the Greater Kruger region.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated housekeeping professional who leads by example and takes pride in maintaining impeccable standards. The successful candidate will be actively involved in servicing guest suites and public areas while overseeing the housekeeping operation, ensuring every aspect of the villa reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Location: Greater Kruger Region

Live-in position

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience (DOE)

Key Responsibilities



• Lead the daily housekeeping operation while remaining actively involved in servicing guest rooms



• Clean and prepare guest suites and public areas to impeccable five-star standards



• Ensure all guest rooms are consistently presented to the highest level of luxury



• Supervise, train and mentor the housekeeping team



• Conduct room inspections while also assisting with cleaning duties as required



• Manage housekeeping schedules and daily task allocation



• Oversee linen, guest amenities and housekeeping stock control



• Report maintenance issues promptly and liaise with the maintenance team



• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards



• Deliver personalised service and assist with special guest requests where required

Minimum Requirements



• Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Head Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeper within a luxury lodge, villa or five-star hospitality environment



• Hands-on approach with the willingness to actively clean guest rooms alongside the team



• Strong leadership and team management skills



• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining luxury standards



• Excellent organisational and time management abilities



• Strong communication and interpersonal skills



• Experience with stock control, linen management and housekeeping administration



• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a remote hospitality environment



• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
