Job Description - FINANCIAL MANAGER - R70 -60k pm HYBRID/STELLENBOSCH

FINANCIAL MANAGER - R70 -60k pm - HYBRID: REMOTE & STELLENBOSCH

Our client, a global group, has an exciting role available for a hands -on Finance Manager open to doing from complex financial project solutions through to even processing if need be, this is an opportunity to gain valuable all -rounder experience.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Monthly Management Accounts and reporting

Forecast planning and financial year budgeting.

Mid -term revised budgets.

Full responsibility of annual external audits

Taxation Compliance

Oversee the banking relationship with external bankers.

Oversee monthly VAT Reconciliation

Outsourced Secretarial Duties

General Account Mapping

Monthly variance analysis. (Cost of Sales vs Revenue).

Financial analysis to assess performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and provide data -driven insights to support decision -making.

Advanced understanding of VAT processing

Creating and implementing financial plans that align with the organisation's strategic objectives

Identify financial risks, such as market fluctuations, credit risks, and liquidity issues, and develop risk management strategies to mitigate these risks.

Determine the appropriate mix of debt and equity to fund our operations and growth.

Cash flow forecasting and planning. Ensure that company maintains adequate cash flow to meet operational needs. This includes managing cash reserves, monitoring cash inflows and outflows, and optimise working capital.

Control costs and improve cost efficiency. Involve identifying cost -saving opportunities.

Compliance: Ensure the company complies with financial regulations, accounting standards, tax laws and BEE requirements. Stay up to date with regulatory changes and ensure the organisation's financial practices are in line with these requirements.

Stakeholder Communication. Interact with various stakeholders, including investors, creditors, auditors, and regulatory agencies, to provide transparency and maintain trust.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

CIMA - ACMA, CGMA / CA(SA)
Must have min 2 -3 years post articles working experience
XERO Accounting software advantageous
PowerBI experience advantageous
Advanced Excel
