Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Foreman to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. The Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and schedule construction activities, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet project deadlines - Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and safe completion of projects - Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies - Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers to address any issues or concerns - Keep accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, time sheets, and material usage - Train and mentor new construction workers to ensure high-quality workmanship - Maintain a clean and organized work site at all times - Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential safety hazards or quality issues Qualifications and Skills: - Minimum of 5 years experience as a Foreman in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and materials - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings - Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of South African building codes and regulations is an asset If you are a motivated and experienced Foreman looking to join a dynamic and growing construction company, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
