Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Manager to join a prestigious luxury lodge in Hoedspruit, Mpumalanga. This is an exciting live-in opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership, operational and guest service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the luxury lodge.
  
  


• Lead, motivate and manage the lodge team, ensuring high levels of performance and professionalism.
  
  


• Maintain exceptional guest service standards throughout the guest journey.
  
  


• Ensure the lodge consistently delivers a high-quality luxury hospitality experience.
  
  


• Manage operational budgets, stock control and cost management.
  
  


• Oversee staff scheduling, training, development and performance.
  
  


• Maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers and service providers.
  
  


• Ensure lodge facilities and standards are consistently maintained.
  
  


• Monitor and uphold health, safety and operational procedures.
  
  


• Assist with resolving guest queries and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  
  


• Drive operational efficiency while maintaining the lodge's luxury standards.
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a General Manager or senior lodge management position within a luxury hospitality environment.
  
  


• Strong operational and people-management skills.
  
  


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
  


• A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
  
  


• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse hospitality team.
