HEAD CHEF | Luxury Safari Lodge

Hluhluwe, KwaZulu -Natal

Are you a passionate and creative Head Chef with a flair for luxury hospitality? This is an exciting opportunity to lead the kitchen team at a prestigious safari lodge (2 kitchens), delivering exceptional culinary experiences in one of South Africa's most spectacular wildlife destinations.

The Role:

Lead daily kitchen operations across multiple sections

Train, mentor and inspire the kitchen brigade

Manage stock control, ordering and food quality

Deliver outstanding culinary experiences for discerning guests

Maintain the highest hygiene and food safety standards

Engage with guests to ensure memorable dining experiences

Location: Hluhluwe, KwaZulu -Natal

Position: Permanent

Salary: Market Related

Requirements

Previous Head Chef or Senior Chef experience in a luxury lodge or 5 -star hospitality environment

Strong kitchen management, administration and people management skills

Passion for mentoring and developing kitchen teams

Excellent knowledge of food presentation, hygiene and stock control

Experience managing special dietary requirements

Creative, innovative and guest -focused approach to cuisine

Valid Code 8 driver's licence

Previous luxury safari lodge experience advantageous
