About the Opportunity

A luxury wine estate in Franschhoek is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join its hospitality team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas, ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a luxury environment.

Key Requirements

â¢ Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel, lodge or estate environment

â¢ Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

â¢ Ability to work efficiently and independently

â¢ Good time management and organisational skills

â¢ Physically fit and able to perform daily housekeeping duties

â¢ Flexible and willing to work weekends and public holidays

â¢ Professional, reliable and guest-focused approach

Key Responsibilities

â¢ Clean and maintain guest rooms, suites and public areas to luxury standards

â¢ Ensure rooms are serviced efficiently and presented impeccably

â¢ Replenish guest amenities and supplies as required

â¢ Report maintenance issues promptly to management

â¢ Assist with laundry duties when required

â¢ Maintain housekeeping equipment and ensure proper use

â¢ Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times

â¢ Support the wider hospitality team in delivering excellent guest service
