Housekeepers, Waterfront Villas - Permanent and Seasonal Positions

Housekeepers, Waterfront Villas (Permanent and Seasonal Positions)
Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate, Walker Bay, near Hermanus, Western Cape

About Us

Benguela Cove is a luxury wine estate on a Ramsar-listed lagoon in the Kogelberg Biosphere, where wild horses graze the banks and our cellar sits behind the vines. Our twelve Waterfront Villas are graded 5-star Self-Catering (Exclusive) by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, and our guests expect every room to feel as considered as the view.

We have both permanent and seasonal positions available for housekeepers who take real pride in detail. Our seasonal positions are a genuine pathway to permanent employment, and we promote from within our seasonal team first.

The role

• Prepare our villas to a 5-star standard, from linen and bathrooms to the smallest finishing touches

• Carry out turndown, mid-stay and departure cleans to our checklists

• Inspect each villa before guest arrival and report maintenance issues the same day

• Handle guest belongings with discretion and care

• Manage linen, amenities and cleaning stock responsibly, in line with our conservation values

• Work closely with the front desk and villa team so every arrival is seamless

• Able to lift, bend and be on your feet throughout the shift
