Industrialization Engineer Precision Manufacturing

Are you an experienced Industrialization Engineer who understands what it takes to turn an engineering design into a fully operational, efficient manufacturing process?

An established precision engineering and manufacturing business is looking for a technically strong, hands-on professional to drive New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialization and manufacturing engineering projects.

This opportunity combines technical engineering, project management and cross-functional team coordination, taking ownership of projects from initial concept through prototyping, process development and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive engineering and industrialization projects from concept through prototyping, pre-production and full production implementation.
  

• Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.
  

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones and engineering deliverables.
  

• Coordinate manufacturing process development, technical requirements and production readiness.
  

• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Toolroom and Procurement to ensure successful project execution.
  

• Oversee prototype manufacturing, engineering changes, technical documentation and process improvements.
  

• Coordinate daily engineering activities, team priorities and project resources.
  

• Identify manufacturing risks, resolve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  

• Ensure engineering activities align with IATF 16949 and applicable customer requirements.
  

Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
  

• Formal Project Management qualification.
  

• Minimum 5 years' relevant engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  

• Proven experience in industrialization, New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing project execution.
  

• Strong knowledge of machining, manufacturing processes, engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  

• Experience with APQP, prototype development, engineering change management and production readiness.
  

• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage priorities and meet project deadlines.
  

• Knowledge of IATF 16949, MS Project, AutoCAD and ERP/manufacturing systems.
