Job Description: E&I Engineer - Beverages Production

Job Summary:

The E&I Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment within the beverage production plant. This role ensures maximum equipment uptime for filling, packaging, and processing machinery (such as Krones, Ektam, or Chumpower systems) while adhering strictly to safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for low-tension (L.T.) electrical panels, instrumentation, and control systems.

Instrumentation & Calibration: Calibrate and maintain sensors (proximity, photo-electric, ultra-sonic), pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature controllers, and solenoid valves.

Automation & PLC Systems: Troubleshoot and configure Allen Bradley (SLC 500, CompactLogix), Siemens, or similar PLCs, and VFDs (ABB, Delta, Danfoss) in a production environment.

Beverage Processing/Bottling Support: Support PET stretch blow molding, filling machines, labelling machines, and packers.

Project Management: Support installation and commissioning of new production lines or upgrades.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure all machinery complies with electrical safety regulations and company quality/housekeeping standards
