Intermediate .Net Developer

Our client is a leading organisation within the Agri-chem
sector, currently seeking two Intermediate Software Developers to join an
established Agile development team on a contract basis. This is a capability
augmentation opportunity where the successful candidates will contribute to the
development, enhancement and support of business-critical applications. The
role requires developers who can operate independently, take ownership of their
work and integrate quickly into an established technical environment for a
project that is expected to go-live in September.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain applications using C# /
  .NET and ASP.NET Core.
  
• Develop and maintain front-end applications using
  Angular.
  
• Design, develop and integrate REST APIs.
  
• Develop and maintain solutions using SQL Server.
  
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve application defects
  and production issues.
  
• Provide application and production support for live
  systems.
  
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement appropriate
  solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure
  application quality and reliability.
  
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and development pipelines.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code
  reviews and team activities.
  
• Work collaboratively with developers, technical teams and
  business stakeholders.
  
• Take ownership of assigned development tasks and
  deliverables.
  
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement, stability and
  performance of existing applications.
  

Requirements

• 3–6 years' professional software development experience.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
  
• Practical experience with ASP.NET Core.
  
• Strong Angular development experience.
  
• Solid experience working with SQL Server.
  
• Proven experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
  
• Experience with automation testing.
  
• Practical understanding of CI/CD principles and
  development pipelines.
  
• Experience providing application or production support.
  
• Proven ability to troubleshoot application issues and
  perform root-cause analysis.
  
• Experience working within an Agile development
  environment.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability for assigned
  work and deliverables.
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Ability to investigate technical issues logically and
  identify appropriate solutions.
  
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage
  effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  
• Ability to integrate quickly and effectively into an
  established development team.
  
• A mature, professional and proactive approach to software
  development.
  
• Azure experience is strongly preferred.
  
• Experience with Azure DevOps is highly advantageous.
  
• Exposure to broader Microsoft Azure cloud environments
  will be beneficial.
