We’re growing across international markets and are looking for an ambitious, curious and commercially minded Internal Talent Partner to join our team in Johannesburg.

This is an opportunity to help shape the future of talent at Chapter 2 itself. You’ll play a key role in building our internal teams, identifying exceptional people and supporting our continued growth across Germany and the UK.

We’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited about Chapter 2 — our people, our growth, our embedded model and the opportunity to help build a modern talent function. You should be curious about how businesses grow, passionate about finding great people and excited by the opportunity to use talent intelligence to make smarter hiring decisions

What You’ll Do

Own end-to-end internal recruitment

• Take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle for Chapter 2's internal Talent Partner hires, with Germany as your primary market and the UK as your secondary market.

• Build and execute the search strategy from the ground up, taking responsibility for sourcing, market research, talent mapping, engagement and delivery.

• Conduct in-depth behavioural interviews to assess skills, motivation, career aspirations and alignment with Chapter 2's culture and values.

Bring talent intelligence into every search

• Go beyond traditional sourcing by developing a clear understanding of the talent market, including competitor landscapes, target companies, relevant job titles, talent availability and candidate movement.

• Use market mapping and research to identify where the strongest talent sits, how to engage it and what strategies are most likely to generate results.

• Track and analyse sourcing activity, conversion rates, pipeline health and hiring outcomes to understand what's working, identify gaps and continuously optimise your approach.

Build long-term talent communities

• Develop and nurture talent pools of exceptional people, including individuals who may not be ready to move immediately but could be strong future hires.

• Create meaningful, ongoing relationships with talent through thoughtful engagement, relevant conversations and consistent follow-up.

What You’ll Bring

• A strong track record in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within a fast-paced internal Talent Acquisition, embedded RPO or internal environment.

• A research-led sourcing mindset, with practical experience in Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping and proactive candidate engagement.

• The ability to interpret talent intelligence and turn it into clear recommendations rather than simply presenting lists of potential candidates.

• Strong behavioural interviewing skills, with the confidence to assess capability, motivation and cultural alignment in a structured and thoughtful way.

• A clear approach to building, maintaining and nurturing talent pipelines, including engaging strong candidates who aren't ready to move immediately.

• A proactive, commercially aware and adaptable approach, with the confidence to take ownership and work independently.

• Genuine enthusiasm for Chapter 2, our people, our growth ambitions and the opportunity to help build our internal Talent function.

German market knowledge is not essential. We care more about your ability to research, learn quickly, understand a new talent landscape and build an effective search strategy than whether you've recruited in Germany before.

Who Will Thrive in This Role?

You'll thrive here if you're naturally curious about people and markets, enjoy solving difficult sourcing challenges and want to understand the why behind every search. You're someone who takes ownership, builds relationships beyond the immediate vacancy and uses data to make better decisions.

Most importantly, you're excited by what Chapter 2 is building and want to play an active role in finding the people who will help us get there.

At Chapter 2, we are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming workplace where everyone belongs. Regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, or neurodiversity, we celebrate the unique perspectives that make us stronger. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and are happy to accommodate any recruitment or interview adjustments needed to create a smooth and comfortable experience. Your individuality matters, and we believe that diverse philosophies, cultures, and experiences drive innovation and success.
