An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Junior Accountant to join a dynamic group company with a diverse portfolio of businesses (private company). This role offers exposure across multiple industries and the chance to gain broad commercial and financial experience while learning how a group structure operates from the ground up.

This is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and wants to build a solid long -term career in finance by understanding the full financial lifecycle of a business.

Key Responsibilities

You will be involved in the day -to -day financial operations across various entities within the group, including:

• Capturing and processing financial transactions
  

• Debtors and creditors reconciliations
  

• Bank reconciliations
  

• Assisting with monthly management accounts
  

• Supporting month -end and year -end processes
  

• Maintaining accurate financial records and reporting
  

• Assisting with ad hoc finance and operational projects
  

• Working closely with management to support business decision -making
  

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
  

• Completed SAIPA / CIMA Articles
  

• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
  

• Good attention to detail and accuracy
  

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (accounting software exposure advantageous)
  

• Strong willingness to learn and grow
