The Junior Visual Content & Merchandising Assistant supports the day-to-day execution of product merchandising, visual content update and the general maintenance of the Faithful to Nature website.
This role combines operational merchandising support with creative execution, ensuring that product detail pages, promotional tiles, imagery, and digital merchandising elements are accurate, visually aligned, and updated efficiently.
The role also acts as a support function to the E-commerce Merchandising & SEO Specialist, assisting with execution of merchandising and content projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly detail-oriented, digitally savvy, creatively inclined, and excited to grow within e-commerce and digital retail.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Product Image & Visual Asset Management :
Process, resize, optimise, and upload product imagery for new and existing SKUs.
Ensure all product images align with Faithful to Nature’s visual standards and formatting requirements.
Maintain consistency and quality across product detail pages.
Coordinate image updates and replacements when required.
2.Product Detail Page Maintenance and Updates:
Implement product detail updates including:
imagery
descriptions
specifications
product attributes
merchandising content
Support supplier-driven and customer-driven content corrections.
Ensure updates are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
Conduct regular audits to identify outdated or inconsistent content.
3.Promotional & Merchandising Support:
Create and upload promotional tiles and merchandising assets.
Support homepage updates and merchandising changes.
Assist with category merchandising and product curation tasks.
Support merchandising initiatives driven by campaigns, promotions, or seasonal priorities.
Help maintain a strong customer browsing experience across the site.
4.Support to Merchandising & SEO Projects:
Assist with merchandising tasks and digital front-end maintenance.
Support implementation of SEO-related content updates.
Assist with product categorisation and merchandising improvements.
Help execute optimisation initiatives identified through analytics or customer behaviour insights.
Take ownership of recurring operational tasks to create strategic capacity within the e-commerce team.
5.AI & Digital Tools:
Use AI tools to assist with banner and visual asset generation.
Support efficient content creation and image processing workflows.
Explore opportunities to improve efficiency through digital tools and automation.
6.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with category managers and suppliers regarding content requirements.
Support marketing campaigns through timely asset implementation.
Communicate clearly regarding updates, timelines, and content requirements.
KPI'S:
Content Accuracy: Product content and imagery updated accurately and within agreed SLAs.
Image Management: Completion of new product image uploads and processing within agreed SLAs.
Promotional Execution: Promotional tiles and merchandising assets implemented within agreed SLAs.
Website Merchandising: Accuracy and consistency of product detail pages and merchandising elements.
Operational Support: Effective support provided to the E-commerce Merchandising & SEO Specialist.
Process Efficiency: Continuous improvement in turnaround times and operational workflows.
Skills & Requirements :
1–2 years’ experience in e-commerce, digital content, merchandising support, or a related field advantageous. Graduates with a passion for e-commerce and digital retail are encouraged to apply.
Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
Comfortable working with CMS platforms and digital tools.
Basic image editing and content management skills.
Strong digital literacy and confidence learning new systems.
Interest in E-commerce, digital merchandising, and online retail.
Familiarity with AI tools or willingness to learn advantageous.
