Your Role
As a Key Account Lead, you will lead a significant customer portfolio of high-value in the meat packaging industry with a focus on estabished business in the midwest and north eastern regions of the US, serving as a trusted partner and a key contributor to Cascades’ growth strategy. This is not a new business development role or hunter role. We are seeking a relationship driven professional who excels at account management, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a large protein packaging account.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Manufacturing teams to ensure production readiness, product quality and on time delivery.
- Support packaging trials, product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor customer performance metrics and proactively address risks and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate account forecasts and provide visibility into customer demand and future opportunities.
What You Bring
You're a natural fit for Key Account Lead if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Key Account Management experience (protein packaging industry experience strongly preferred)
- Proven success managing large national or multi-site customer accounts within manufacturing, packaging, industrial products, food processing or related industries.
- Strong track record of negotiation, growth, and relationship management at the senior level
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and influence key stakeholders
- Comfort with travel up to 20-40% within the U.S.
- Strong business acumen and familiarity with CRM tools
