Requirements

• Matric and Maritime
  Qualification Essential  NQF 5/6/7 (work experience will be considered if
  qualification lower )
  
• Attention to detail, strict
  adherence to rules and regulations
  
• Good Interpersonal skills
  
• Strong Computer skills and
  communication skills
  
• Planning and organising skills
  
• Professional Candidate to deal
  with Principals and third parties at all levels
  
• Able to get to the office before
  08h00 everyday (punctual, self -disciplined)
  
• Experience in Port operating
  system ( Navis ), container depots, container transport and reefer containers
  will be of added advantage
  
• Individual needs to be
  accountable and responsible under minimum supervision
  
• Valid driver’s licence
  

Duties

• Monitoring and reconcile depot
  daily tracking and stock reports
  
• Analysing daily Pending reports
  and correction of status flow
  
• Processing of rail and road
  transport instructions and follow up on deliveries
  
• Liaising with transport vendors
  on a daily basis and follow up on deliveries
  
• Control import road and rail
  overdue
  
• Liaising with depots on a daily
  basis for preparation of food grade and reefer containers
  
• Prepare and follow up of empty
  evacuation plans
  
• Processing of transport and depot
  Invoices
  
• Do container depot visits and
  audits
  
• Liaising with transporters,
  depots, rail and port authorities
  
• Processing of Cargo dues.
  
• Monitoring and control of
  container seals
