Job Summary
The incumbent is accountable for coordinating team activities and managing the administration of deceased estates, ensuring effective problem resolution, customer satisfaction, compliance, and the handling of complex cases.Job Description
KEY FOCUS AREAS
Allocate estates to experienced Administrators and oversee asset sales or rentals to secure optimal value for beneficiaries, following client or Master of the High Court instructions.
Stay updated on Fiduciary industry and Estate Act knowledge by reviewing all legal department communications.
Review new files for accuracy before accepting executor appointments, ensuring assets can be managed cost-effectively and in beneficiaries’ best interests, including investments and fixed property.
Ensure estate administrators maintain timely insurance coverage and manage property collections efficiently.
Evaluate and approve or decline advances and distributions per client needs and estate mandates, ensuring a second approval where required.
Handle complex estate cases and complaints, escalating to the Regional Manager when necessary.
Ensure compliance with statutory and company administrative requirements.
Coordinate monthly management reports and interpret estate information to meet income targets.
Prevent fee write-backs due to negligence or policy breaches.
Delegate administrative tasks to support staff, including estate renunciations and finalized estate queries.
Strategy Formulation and Execution
Implement business plans and operational strategies aligned to defined objectives.
Translate strategic goals into team-level actions and delivery milestones.
Monitor execution progress and escalate risks or issues as required.

Use customer feedback and insights to improve service delivery.
Support initiatives that enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent and responsive customer service.
