Job Description - Marketing and Sales Assistant

A Pietermaritzburg based Digital Archiving company is looking for a Marketing Assistant with a heart for Africa and good work ethic. This person must have a systematic and methodical approach to work and be comfortable communicating in person and digitally. The Candidate will:

Prepare quotes and project proposals for our clients
Conceptualise and implement marketing strategies for the company
Run company social media accounts
Conduct product and market research
Write marketing and product content
Prepare and monitor marketing budgets

Requirements

Education and Experience:

A degree or diploma in marketing and sales or significant demonstrable experience

Systems

Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Familiarity with content management systems advantageous

Familiarity with project or task management systems advantageous

Technical Skills

Writing and editing

Research

Budget management

Social media management

Graphic and web design an advantage

Photography and videography an advantage

Soft Skills

Good social connector

Attention to detail

Works well with team and under authority

Creative

Kind
