Marketing Assistant / Generalist

Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor

About the role: We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day execution of the marketing strategy for a growing DTC business.

The manager will own the overall marketing strategy, creative direction, and content creation. This person will be responsible for helping turn that strategy and creative into consistent execution across the company’s marketing channels.

What you’ll do

  Upload, schedule, and distribute marketing content across relevant platforms

  
  


• 
  

  Manage and execute email campaigns and flows in Klaviyo

  
  


• 
  

  Support paid advertising across platforms such as Meta and other relevant channels

  
  


• 
  

  Repurpose and distribute existing content across marketing channels

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with website, social media, email, and other general marketing updates

  
  


• 
  

  Keep marketing campaigns, content, and assets organized and moving on schedule

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor basic campaign performance and surface relevant insights

  
  


• 
  

  Help with other day-to-day marketing tasks as needed

  
  

What we’re looking for

• 
  

  1–3+ years of experience in a marketing assistant, marketing coordinator, or generalist role

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on experience with Klaviyo

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with paid advertising platforms, ideally Meta Ads

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable working across a range of marketing tools and platforms

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and ability to execute without needing constant direction

  
  


• 
  

  Able to take existing strategy and creative and turn it into consistent execution

  
  


• 
  

  Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple marketing tasks

  
  


• 
  

  Experience supporting a DTC or e-commerce business is strongly preferred

  
  

Ideal candidate

This is not a role for someone who needs to own the entire marketing strategy. The manager is already doing that.

We're looking for someone sharp who can take the strategy and creative direction, handle the execution, and make sure content actually gets uploaded, distributed, scheduled, and put to work across the right channels.
