Mid-Level Enterprise Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Enterprise Architect to support the development and implementation of enterprise architecture, data governance, and knowledge management initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to establish governance frameworks, develop enterprise data standards, and drive strategic alignment with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and change management activities.
  
• Review and assess existing data management policies, frameworks, and strategies, identifying opportunities for improvement and alignment with industry best practices.
  
• Assist with the implementation of data governance structures, including:
  
  • Defining governance roles and responsibilities.
    
  • Developing terms of reference.
    
  • Establishing governance committees and reporting mechanisms.
    
  • Facilitating stakeholder workshops.
    
• Develop and formalize enterprise data taxonomies.
  
• Create and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary and data asset inventory.
  
• Develop and implement a Knowledge Management maturity roadmap aligned with recognised governance frameworks and organisational objectives.
  
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure enterprise architecture principles support strategic business goals.
  
• Produce high-quality documentation, governance artefacts, and strategic recommendations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (NQF Level qualification or higher).
  

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Enterprise Architect.
  
• Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Solutions Architect.
