Move Execution Coordinator

The Move Execution Coordinator leads the
full on -site execution of move jobs. The role is accountable for
ensuring that every move is completed safely, professionally, on time, in full,
and to the Company service standard.

The MEC is the primary execution leader on
the day of the move. This role requires a rare balance: calm, polished client
management and firm, practical ground -level leadership. The MEC must be able to
move between a high -pressure client conversation and a direct crew instruction
without losing respect, control, or professionalism.

Move -Day Execution Leadership

• The MEC owns the move -day outcome from
  pre -move readiness through same -day close -out. This includes reviewing the
  confirmed sales to ops brief at least 24 hours before the move, identifying
  execution risks, confirming crew and vehicle suitability with the field ops
  manager and keeping the operation moving throughout the day.
  
• The MEC must stay ahead of execution, not
  react after standards have slipped. They are expected to anticipate bottlenecks
  manage sequencing and make practical decisions under pressure.
  

• The MEC is the lead client -facing representative
  on move day. They manage expectations, conduct and confirm the pre -move call,
  lead the arrival conversation, provide updates, 
  
• handle client anxiety, and manage difficult
  conversations such as delays, damages, access issues, or scope changes.
  
• The MEC must communicate with warmth,
  clarity, discretion, and confidence. They must never expose internal friction
  to the client, blame another department on site, or allow operational stress to
  spill into the client experience.
  

• The MEC leads supervisors and crew through
  clear instruction, visible presence, and consistent standards. They must be
  able to direct frontline teams under time pressure without disrespect,
  aggression, humiliation, or micromanagement.
  
• They are responsible for ensuring that execution
  teams understand their responsibilities, maintain Company conduct
  standards, and poor performance is addressed in the moment. They must also
  recognise good work and help build a stronger execution culture.
  

• The MEC is accountable for preventing
  damages, identifying safety concerns, managing special items, maintaining
  H&S and SOP compliance, and assessing whether day -of requests are safe,
  feasible, and within quoted scope.
  
• Where a task is out of scope,
  under -resourced, unsafe, or commercially material, the MEC must escalate
  correctly. They must not allow client pressure to override risk, safety, or
  liability judgement.
  

• The MEC must complete same -day job
  documentation, OTIF self -assessment, damage/deviation reports, Sales -attributed
  deviation notes, and junior supervisor performance feedback. Admin is part of
  execution, not an afterthought.
  
• Escalation must follow the agreed pathway:
  L1 resolved on site and noted; L2 submitted to the Field Ops Manager same day;
  L3 escalated by the Field Ops Manager to Ops Manager/ CCOO where financial,
  reputational, integrity, or disputed attribution issues arise.
  

Requirements

• Proven ability to lead frontline or blue -collar teams under
  pressure.
  
• Strong customer -facing capability in difficult or emotional
  situations.
  
• Demonstrated ownership, integrity and follow -through.
  
• Operational planning ability across people, vehicles,
  materials, sequence and timing.
  
• Ability to manage damages, deviations and escalations
  professionally.
  
• Strong admin discipline and same -day reporting habit.
  
• Valid Code 8 or code 10 driver’s licence.
  
• Willingness to work long, physical, high -pressure move days.
  
• Experience managing high -value items, complex access,
  multi -crew jobs or VIP clients.
