National Facilities Management Executive

National Portfolio

A leading national property provider is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Executive to provide strategic leadership across its national property portfolio.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the Facilities Management strategy while ensuring operational excellence, statutory compliance, asset preservation and cost -effective service delivery across all properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the national Facilities Management strategy.
  
• Lead all Hard and Soft Facilities Management services, including maintenance, cleaning, security, utilities and contractor management.
  
• Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance programmes.
  
• Ensure compliance with the OHS Act, SANS regulations and all statutory requirements.
  
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets and identify cost -saving initiatives.
  
• Lead refurbishment and capital improvement projects.
  
• Manage service providers and monitor SLA performance.
  
• Drive asset lifecycle management, risk management and operational efficiencies.
  
• Lead and develop a high -performing national Facilities Management team.
  

Requirements

• Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Property Studies, Operations Management or related field.
  
• MBA and/or SAFMA membership advantageous.
  
• 10+ years' senior Facilities Management experience, including at least 5 years managing a national property portfolio.
  
• Strong experience in Hard and Soft FM services, contractor management, maintenance, compliance and project management.
  
• Proven experience managing large operational and capital budgets.
  
• Excellent leadership, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
