Package Consultant -SAP HANA SCM GTS

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) Functional Consultant to lead the functional design and implementation of SAP GTS (Edition for SAP HANA) within a global transformation program.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to design and implement compliant, efficient, and automated cross -border trade processes. This role requires strong functional consulting expertise, global rollout experience, and the ability to translate international trade compliance and customs requirements into scalable SAP GTS solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Chemical and Consumer Goods industry on a large -scale international program, including travel to Turkey.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business workshops to gather, analyze, and document trade compliance and customs requirements.
  
• Design and implement SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS, Edition for SAP HANA) solutions aligned to business processes.
  
• Configure and support key SAP GTS functionalities, including:
  • Sanctioned Party Screening (SPL)
    
  • Embargo and Legal Control
    
  • Import and Export Customs Management
    
  • Export License Determination and License Management
    
  • Product Classification (HS/HTS Codes and Export Control Classification)
    
  • Preference Determination
    
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP functional designs.
  
• Support global template design and international rollout activities.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, cut -over, and hyper -care support.
  
• Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation.
  
• Provide regular status reporting and communicate effectively with client stakeholders.
  
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and corporate governance standards.
  

Minimum Requirements

• 5–10 years' experience as an SAP Functional Consultant.
  
• Proven implementation experience with SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS, Edition for SAP HANA).
  
• Strong knowledge of international trade compliance and customs processes.
  
• Experience implementing SAP GTS across global organizations.
  
• Experience with global rollout programs.
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business process design skills.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem -solving abilities.
  
• Strong communication skills with excellent English proficiency.
  
• Ability to work independently in a client -facing consulting environment.
  
• Structured and organized approach to project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  
• SAP GTS Certification (Advantageous).
  
• SAP BTP Certification (Advantageous).
  
• SAP Trade Promotion Management Certification (Advantageous).
