Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie for a luxury restaurant based in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative pastry professional who thrives in a high-end culinary environment and is committed to delivering exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods
  


• Ensure consistency in presentation and flavour standards
  


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the pastry section
  


• Assist with stock control and ingredient management
  


• Work closely with the senior kitchen team to develop seasonal and innovative dessert offerings
  


• Ensure all food preparation complies with health and safety regulations
  


• Support junior kitchen staff where required
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie within a luxury restaurant or similar high-end environment
  


• Strong pastry and baking skills with excellent attention to detail
  


• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  


• Creative flair and passion for pastry arts
  


• Good organisational and time management skills
  


• Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
  

Package:

• Salary: R16,000
