Job Summary

Real Estate Banking has a dual mandate, comprising strategic coverage and wholesale commercial property finance for wholesale clients in the real estate sector. The Real Estate Banking team has primary responsibility within the Firm for the coverage of large real estate clients. The position involves working closely with all Investment Banking product areas, with a strong focus on strategic financing mandates. The Real Estate Banking team has responsibility to originate, structure, and execute loan transactions . The role requires a close working relationship with portfolio, credit, DocMan, PCG and internal legal teams to originate and successfully execute transactions. The successful candidate, who will join the Cape Town based Real Estate Banking team, will have 10 years’ experience in Commercial Property Finance as a transactor/relationship banker or alternatively have Property Finance Corporate credit expertise.
