Job Description - RECEIVING / DISPATCH CLERKS

Key Responsibilities:

Provide efficient receiving support service:
Assist with receiving and unloading incoming deliveries.
Verify shipment accuracy by comparing packing slips with purchase orders and report any discrepancies to the manager.
Sort, count, label, and log inventory for both shipped and received items.
Follow specific instructions and procedures as directed.
Manage inventory control according to the guidelines provided by the Logistics Manager.
Inspect deliveries for damage or defects, document discrepancies, and notify the appropriate manager.
Operate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts to safely load and unload merchandise, adhering to all safety regulations.
Repackage items by placing them in new boxes when the original packaging is damaged during transit.
