ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client operates within the healthcare recruitment industry and is experiencing significant operational growth.

The business is hiring two professionals at the same level to work across sales lead conversion and recruitment. One position will focus primarily on converting incoming leads into completed applications, while the other will learn lead generation before transitioning into a full recruitment function.

THE ROLE: RECRUITMENT LEAD CONVERSION & APPLICATIONS COORDINATOR

This role exists to drive recruitment volume by converting inbound candidate leads into completed applications.

You will act as the first point of contact for potential candidates, qualify their suitability and guide them through the application process. Performance will be measured across the full end-to-end conversion journey, from initial enquiry through to compliance interviews and confirmed candidate start dates, rather than against arbitrary call volumes.

The position is fully office-based to maintain high operational standards, support direct team development and ensure strong supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Convert inbound candidate leads into completed applications.

• Act as the first point of contact for potential candidates.

• Qualify candidates’ suitability for available opportunities.

• Guide candidates through the full application process.

• Track candidate enquiries from initial contact through to compliance interviews and confirmed start dates.

• Support recruitment volume through effective full-pipeline conversion.

• Learn lead generation before transitioning into a full recruitment function, where applicable.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling candidate information.

• Protect sensitive candidate data and confidential business information.

• Apply proactive problem-solving throughout the conversion and application process.

• Support team performance, attendance and operational excellence as the role progresses.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven sales or recruitment experience.

• Strong conversion skills across full pipeline cycles.

• Experience within the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.

• Prior management experience is strongly preferred.

• High levels of integrity.

• Strict confidentiality and candidate discretion.

• A mature, driven and career-focused approach.

• Proactive problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness and ability to work 100% from the Cape Town office, with no remote or hybrid flexibility.
