Remote (South Africa) | Remote | 10 am–7 pm UK time, with potential flexibility to 9 am–6 pm UK time and earlier finishes on Fridays | R30,000–R37,000 per month

Our client operates within technology and digital recruitment, recruiting across specialist vertical markets and working with leading global brands.
The business recruits for contract and permanent positions, with particular focus across Data Engineering, Data Science/AI, Analytics, Digital Media and Programmatic.
THE ROLE: DELIVERY CONSULTANT
The Delivery Consultant will be responsible for attracting candidates for vacancies and matching them to contract or permanent positions for clients. The role involves building long-term relationships within a specialist vertical market and attracting candidates through advertising, marketing, networking, headhunting and referrals.
You will understand candidate requirements and needs, proactively identify passive candidates suited to client requirements and contribute to the candidate application process. You will also gather market intelligence and leads to support the business development and 360 teams in generating new customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute multiple sales calls related to roles and build candidate pipelines.
- Establish a vertical market of candidates through candidate hotlists.
- Develop a good understanding of client companies, their industries, what they do, their work culture and environment.
- Advertise vacancies by drafting and placing adverts on job boards.
- Use social media, including LinkedIn, to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships.
- Use creative methods to develop your specialist reputation and attract talent.
- Gather market intelligence and leads and present this information to the 360 and business development teams.
- Receive and review applications, manage interviews and tests, and create candidate shortlists for clients.
- Brief candidates on the responsibilities, salary and benefits of relevant positions.
- Prepare CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants.
- Organise interviews for candidates as requested by clients and guide candidates through the process.
- Inform candidates about the results of their discussions and discuss feedback.
- Negotiate pay and salary rates and finalise arrangements between clients and candidates.
- Work towards and exceed targets relating to candidates placed, value billed to clients or business leads generated.
- Develop a good understanding and knowledge of the technology platforms used to facilitate successful performance, particularly Bullhorn and LinkedIn.
- Proactively map your market, identifying trends and leads to help enable the sales team.
- Use questioning techniques to fact-find and closing techniques to gain commitment.
ABOUT YOU
- Around 3–5 years of relevant experience is considered ideal. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience may also be considered where the rest of their background aligns well, particularly a solid work history, evidence of success and strong sales aptitude.
- Proven technology/digital recruitment background, particularly across Data Engineering, Data Science/AI, Analytics, Digital Media or Programmatic.
- Experience recruiting within the US or UK markets is preferred, although candidates with a South African market background may be considered if the rest of their experience aligns well.
- Solid and stable work history, ideally demonstrating good tenure with previous employers, consistent results and career progression.
