This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Executive Search Resourcer based in South Africa.
This is a full-time, remote opportunity supporting senior-level executive search mandates for a UK-based recruitment business. You will be the research engine behind critical searches, identifying exceptional leadership talent and mapping complex markets. The role combines detailed research, strategic talent identification, and high-quality candidate engagement. You will work closely with consultants to refine search strategies and turn market intelligence into strong candidate pipelines. Your work will directly influence the quality and success of senior appointments. This is a long-term opportunity for a rigorous, curious professional who takes pride in precision, discretion, and meaningful candidate interactions. The role operates on UK business hours.
Accountabilities:
- Map target markets, companies, sectors, and talent pools in line with individual executive search mandates.
- Research and identify high-calibre senior candidates using LinkedIn, recruitment databases, industry sources, and other research tools.
- Build accurate, evidence-based candidate longlists rather than relying on assumptions or incomplete information.
- Conduct first-stage outreach and conversations with senior professionals to assess suitability, interest, motivation, and availability.
- Develop relevant, respectful outreach that encourages engagement with senior-level candidates.
- Maintain highly accurate records of candidate interactions, responses, market intelligence, and search progress within relevant ATS or CRM systems.
- Prepare concise candidate summaries, research findings, and market insights to support consultants and client discussions.
- Collaborate closely with consultants to review progress, adapt search strategies, and maintain momentum across multiple mandates.
- Handle sensitive candidate and client information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment resourcing, executive search, talent research, or a closely related field.
- Strong written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with senior-level candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed market and talent research and translate findings into high-quality candidate pipelines.
- Strong candidate qualification skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to identify relevant talent beyond surface-level profile matching.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS or CRM platforms, and productivity tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly when managing candidate records and search data.
- A discreet, professional, persistent, and curious approach to executive-level research and outreach.
- Reliable home-working setup, including stable fibre internet, backup power for load shedding, and a quiet, professional workspace.
- Comfortable working full-time on UK business hours while based in South Africa.
