RF Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain RF equipment and related site infrastructure according to project specifications.
  

• Conduct site surveys, signal testing, and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing to ensure optimal network performance.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve RF issues during and post-installation phases.
  

• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations, especially when working at heights.
  

• Document installation and testing activities accurately and report findings to the project management team.
  

• Collaborate with engineers, site managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  

• Adhere strictly to health and safety policies and guidelines.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience (3-5 years) in RF installation and testing with a strong technical knowledge of telecom networks.
  

• Ability to conduct comprehensive PIM testing and interpret results effectively.
  

• Proficient in the use of RF test equipment and tools.
  

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  

• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
  

• Comfortable working at heights with proper safety precautions.
  

• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  

Qualifications

• T3 Certification or equivalent recognized technical qualification in telecommunications.
  

• Valid working at heights certificate.
  

• Relevant RF installation certifications.
  

• A valid driver’s license will be an advantage.
