SAIPA Accountant

An established accounting firm is looking for a qualified SAIPA Accountant to join their professional team. This role is designed for a finance professional with a solid background in an accounting practice environment, capable of managing a diverse portfolio of clients simultaneously. The successful candidate will act as an outsourced accountant and financial controller, providing high -level support ranging from core bookkeeping to the preparation of complex financial reports. This permanent, full -time position offers the benefit of flexible working hours and Friday from 08:00 to 14:30, to support a healthy professional balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Full professional membership with SAIPA (Professional Accountant SA).
  
• Proven experience working within an accounting practice or firm environment.
  
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client portfolios concurrently.
  
• Computer literate with experience working on Xero and CaseWare
  
• Strong technical knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and South African tax compliance.
  
• Ability to work independently while managing tight deadlines.
