Head of Sales, Marketing and Reservations (EXCO Level)

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Head of Sales, Marketing and Reservations to join the Executive Committee of a prestigious luxury hospitality collection. This is a senior strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong track record in revenue growth, market development, new business acquisition and luxury hospitality.

The successful candidate will lead the integrated Sales, Marketing and Reservations functions, drive accommodation revenue, expand domestic and international markets, strengthen direct business and build long-term strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior commercial leadership roles
  


• Proven track record of leading sales teams and actively acquiring new business
  


• Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial growth strategies
  


• Experience managing multi-functional, commercially focused teams
  


• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality, tourism or travel markets
  


• Experience managing commercial budgets, revenue targets and KPIs
  


• Proven ability to engage confidently at Executive and Board level
  


• Strong understanding of sales, digital and traditional marketing, reservations and revenue generation
  


• International market development experience advantageous
  


• Experience within luxury hospitality, safari, experiential travel or premium lifestyle brands advantageous
  


• Experience driving commercial transformation initiatives advantageous
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead national and international sales teams and set clear commercial targets
  


• Develop and implement annual sales plans and market strategies
  


• Drive accommodation revenue, market share, new business acquisition and customer retention
  


• Oversee digital and traditional marketing strategies, including performance marketing, lead generation, CRM, SEO, PR and content
  


• Drive measurable direct booking growth and channel optimisation
  


• Lead the Reservations function, improving enquiry conversion, response times and booking performance
  


• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key trade partners and industry stakeholders
  


• Represent the collection at major industry events, trade shows, roadshows and sales missions
  


• Monitor commercial performance, marketing ROI and revenue results, implementing corrective action where required
  


• Identify new markets, partnerships and opportunities for commercial growth
  


• Develop a pipeline of potential investment opportunities in collaboration with senior leadership
  


• Provide market and guest insights to operational teams to ensure the collection remains aligned with evolving luxury travel trends
